   Ingredients :
2 whole wheat pita bread, opened in half (4 rounds)
2 oz (50 g) mozzarella cheese, grated
˝ cup tomato sauce ( see recipe: “Light Tomato Sauce”)
3 oz (80 g) mushrooms, sliced
2 artichoke hearts, cooked and chopped
1 garlic clove
1 teaspoon oregano


Spread tomato sauce on each half. Place mushrooms and artichokes on top.

Cover with mozzarella cheese and season with salt and pepper.

Sprinkle with oregano.

Place pizzas on a baking pan and bake in preheated oven 350 °F (180°C) for 10 minutes or until golden and cheese melts.
