   Ingredients :
1 cup cake flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup heavy cream
2 eggs


Beat eggs with sugar until thick and light lemon colored.Remove from mixer and fold in sifted flour.Gradually add heavy cream.

Pour into a previously greased shallow square glass mold. Place greased parchment paper on the bottom to unmold easier. Bake in preheated oven 350F (180C) for approximately 30 minutes.Remove from oven and cool on rack. Invert the cake onto cake platter.


7 tablespoons brown sugar3 4 apples, peeled, cored and cut in thin slices1 teaspoon ground cinnamon.

Sprinkle 4 tablespoons sugar over bottom of greased mold.Arrange apple slices on top, overlapping them slightly.Pour cake batter and bake. Invert onto cake platter when cool.
