Pour vermouth into a martini glass and swirl around the glass to coat inside. Pour excess into a second glass and swirl it around the second glass.
Place glasses in the freezer for 15 – 20 minutes.
Fill cocktail shaker with 3 cups of ice. Add vodka and shake vigorously until vodka is ice cold. Remove the glasses from the freezer and strain vodka into the glasses. Garnish each drink with a green olive.
