    CREAM CHEESE AND PESTO CHRISTMAS TREE     

   Ingredients :
 
8 oz (225 g) cream cheese
- cup Pesto sauce
1 cinnamon stick
1 red pepper, seeded and deveined, diced.
Toasted pita bread triangles or crackers

   Preparation:

Cut cream cheese in half diagonally. Place straight sides of triangles together to form a Christmas tree shape. Place it on a serving plate.
Cover top of cream cheese with Pesto sauce.
Insert cinnamon stick at the base of the triangle (tree trunk). Sprinkle diced red pepper over pesto.
Serve with pita bread or crackers.
        4 – 6 servings.
