    PORK CHOPS WITH SESAME CRUST ORIENTAL STYLE     

   Ingredients :
 
4 boneless pork chops
¼ teaspoon Chinese five spice powder
4 tablespoons sesame seeds (black and White)
2 tablespoons peanut oil (vegetable oil may be used instead)
1 teaspoon orange marmalade
Salt

   Preparation:

Combine salt with five spice powder and season pork chops on both sides. Place sesame seeds in a shallow dish. Brush one side of each pork chop with orange marmalade and coat that side with sesame seeds pressing slightly. Heat peanut oil in a large size ovenproof skillet and sauté pork chops, sesame seeds side down for 3 – 4 minutes or until golden. Turn chops over and take pan to a preheated oven to 375°F(190°C) and roast until cooked (8 – 10 minutes approximately) Remove pork chops from the oven and serve, if desired with Sweet Potatoes and Snow Peas Stir Fry a l´Orange.
