    CHOCOLATE VELVET ICE CREAM WITH CHOCOLATE CHIPS     

   Ingredients :
 
2/3 cups sugar
1/3 cup cocoa powder
3 egg yolks, beaten
2 2/3 cups heavy cream
1/3 cup chocolate chips, finely chopped

   Preparation:

Combine sugar and cocoa in the mixers bowl. Add beaten egg yolks and beat until thoroughly mixed. Gradually add heavy cream and continue beating. Chill mixture in the freezer for 1 hour or until thick. Remove from the freezer and add chopped chocolate chips and mix, place in a square or rectangular pan and return to freeze until firm.
