Heat milk over medium heat, add sugar and stir until sugar is diluted. Add chopped chocolate, butter and syrup. Bring to a boil, stirring for approximately 8 minutes or until mixture thickens slightly. Remove pan from heat and add vanilla and salt. Cool fudge completely before covering. Refrigerate up to 3 weeks. Reheat fudge, over simmering water, in a double boiler. |
