| Lúcuma |
| Fruit of the lucuma tree, found in Southamerica, especially Peru.
Round fruit with thin, dark greenish yellow skin, which wrinkles when fruit is ripe. The flesh is yellow, soft and sweet, rich in carbohydrates, minerals and vitamins A and C.
Commonly used in desserts, pies and ice-cream. |
