Ingredients :
    30 thin slices of bacon, at room temperature
    30 thin long breadsticks
    1/3 cup light brown sugar
    2 tablespoons aji colorado en polvo (chili powder)


Preheat oven to 350 F (180 C).

Trim excess fat from bacon. Wrap one bacon strip in spiral around each breadstick. Arrange them on a cookie sheet. This can be done 3 to 4 hours ahead and kept covered in the refrigerator.

Combine sugar with chili powder. Roll each breadstick on sugar mixture. Arrange breadsticks on a cookie sheet, leaving 1 inch apart. Bake breadsticks 20 minutes, or until bacon is golden and caramelized.

Remove breadsticks with a metal spatula carefully and cool. Bacon will become crisp and breadsticks will harden as they cool.

Serve breadsticks at room temperature.
