COCADAS / Coconut Macaroons
Ingredients :
8 egg whites
2 cups sugar
1 cup condensed milk
1 lb 2 oz (500 g) shredded coconut
Preparation:
Beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually add sugar and continue beating until stiff. Add condensed milk with shredded coconut.
Drop spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.Bake in preheated oven 300°F (180°C) for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden.Remove from oven and cool.
Approximately 20 macaroons
