Ingredients :
    3 cups rice
    2 cups water
    2 cup Coca Cola
    1 tablespoons oil
    2 tablespoons butter
    2/3 cup shredded coconut
    cup raisins, finely chopped
    cup almonds, skinned, toasted and slivered
    cup green onion, finely chopped, (green part)


Combine water and Coca Cola in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour over rice stirring to mix. Season, lower heat and cover pan.

Continue cooking over low heat until 5 minutes before rice is ready. Add raisins, combine and cover pan again. Continue cooking until rice is just done.

Correct seasoning. Add coconut, almonds and green onion. Mix gently with a fork.Serve this rice with meat, turkey, chicken and ham.
        8 to 10 servings.
