BUTTERCREAM FROSTING   
  Ingredients :
    1/4 cup (1/2 stick) Salted Butter, softened
    1/4 cup (1/2 stick) Unsalted Butter, softened
    1/2 cup Shortening
    1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract
    2-3 tablespoons very cold milk
    4-5 cups Powdered Sugar

  Preparation:

In a large mixing bowl, cream the butters and shortening until smooth, about 3-5 minutes.
Add vanilla and cream together.
Gradually add 2 cups of powdered sugar.
Alternating with one tablespoon of milk.
Gradually add remaining powdered sugar, alternating with more milk until desired consistency.
 
        Yield: Frosts at least 2 dozen cupcakes
