FRENCH DRESSING WITH MUSTARD   
  Ingredients :
    2 tablespoons vinegar
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
    1/2 cup olive or vegetable oil
    1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
    1 to 2 tablespoons minced onion
    1 teaspoon minced garlic

  Preparation:

In a small bowl whisk the vinegar and salt and let stand a few minutes. Add the pepper and whisk in the oil. Add Dijon mustard and onion or garlic while whisking. Season to taste. Store refrigerated in a jar or container with a lid. Shake before using.
