FETTUCINI ALFREDO
Ingredients :
2 lb 4 oz (1 k) fettucini
9 oz (250 g) ham, cut in medium size pieces
3 tablespoons butter
2 ½ cup heavy cream
½ - ¾ grated parmesan cheese
Nutmeg
Salt
Black pepper
Grated parmesan cheese
Preparation:
Melt butter in a saucepan and add heavy cream and ham. Cook over medium heat until cream reduces slightly. Add parmesan cheese and mix to combine. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Cook fettucini in salted boiling water until ¨al dente¨. Drain and combine with sauce.
Serve with extra grated parmesan cheese.
