    MARINATED MUSHROOM APPETIZERS     

   Ingredients :
 
1lb 10 oz (750 g) medium size, mushrooms
Ľ cup soy sauce
Ľ cup mustard
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon minced garlic
2 teaspoons ground cumin
˝ teaspoon pepper
˝ teaspoon salt
˝ cup butter
1/2 cup chives, finely chopped
˝ cup fresh yellow ají, seeded and deveined, finely chopped

   Preparation:

Combine all ingredients with the exception of mushrooms. Transfer mixture to a large bowl. Add mushrooms and combine to coat with the mixture. Marinate for 3 hours.
Before serving, melt butter in a large skillet. Drain mushrooms well and transfer to skillet when butter is hot. Combine mushrooms with butter. Let mushrooms remain in skillet just until they are hot. Stir in chives and ají.

Thread mushrooms in toothpicks and serve immediately.
